James May and Alan Davies are the same person. Think about it. Both have the same haircut, and both have the exact same taste in shirts. Also, May’s never been on QI. I think that’s the reason. Discuss.

No definitely not. In fact polar opposites.
Alan Davies has no passion at all for cars. Sometimes on Qi, it’s like he’s having a breakdown. While he’s great as Jonathan Creek and his early years as a comedian were good, he just doesn’t have it any more.
